DAVE GROLH: A ROCK BAND PLAYER FOREVER



He is one of the most important rock players of the world with his band Foofigthers, and is recognized for playing instruments likes drums, Acoustic guitars, Electric guitars, Bass guitar, Piano and also is recognized for been a Singer and songwriter.
Born in Warren, Ohio in 1969. Three years later his family moved to Springfield, Virginia. At the age of twelve, Grolh began learning to play Guitar, but his cousin Tracy, introduced him to the punk rock.
At the age of seventeen he dropped out high school and joined to the band Scream.
In the 1990s he joined   Nirvana band as its drummer, and they created a new musical style called “Grunge”.  Grolh had been writing songs for several years, but he declined to introduce his songs to the band for fear of damaging their chemistry.
In April of 1994, Kurt Cobain committed suicide and the others two members left the band. In the same year, Dave decided former a band called Foofigthers and invited some of his friends to play in his first album.
Some of the songs were totally made by himself, as proof of his skills with vocals, Guitars, Bass and Drums. He also participated the “Saturday Night life” shows like invited artist, and they recived a nice critic.
In August 2009, Dave was given the key to the city of Warren, and performed the best hits of Foofigther like “Everlong”, “Time like these” and “Hero”. Also a roadway has been dedicated to him.
Currently he continuous playing with Foofigther and we hope that soon we can listening a new musical production.
